MAPS&ADAS part of eSafety Forum Digital Maps Working Group
The MAPS&ADAS project - a subproject of the PReVENT Integrated Project has started a close cooperation with the new eSafety Forum Digital Maps Working Group, which is co-chaired by ERTICO Partners Navteq and TeleAtlas. The first preparation meeting of the Group was held on 18 April. Its general objective is to ensure the procurement of map-related safety content by means of appropriate public/private partnerships. MAPS&ADAS has initiated an European-wide inventory of current safety attributes made available by public authorities and will explore certification aspects with the support of the MAPS&ADAS Public Authorities Consultation Platform.
