A joint meeting took place between the IP PReVENT subproject WILLWARN and members of the Network on Wheels (NOW) project in the beginning of July. NOW, a communication project that is funded by the German government, is the follow-up project to FleetNET. At the meeting, the WILLWARN consortium agreed upon forming a joint task force for communication issues. The task force, consisting of WILLWARN communication and application experts and NOW representatives, will focus on the integration of the WILLWARN application's communication needs with the NOW project, as well as the use of NOW communication hardware in WILLWARN.
