This presentation will introduce the aims of PReVENT and the PReVENT approach for improving traffic safety. The PReVENT subprojects will

“The use of digital maps as an extra sensor for ADAS applications”
This presentation will provide an overview of the capability of digital maps to improve the efficiency and reliability of several ADAS applications.
Mr. Blervaque will present the advances made within the MAPS&ADAS subproject in order to promote the use of safety maps and to develop the ADAS horizon CAN-bus interface.

This presentation will introduce innovative concepts for sensor data fusion, that are under development in IP PReVENT as the basis for reliable safety systems.

This presentation will provide a general overview of the vision created by IP PReVENT for the future of preventive and active safety application on the vehicles. The content will be based on the IP Deliverable on the requirement of active safety applications recently published by the consortium.
